About Acquamarina

Acquamarina wedding planner agency is a project born from the deep love and passion for my job creating unforgettable moments for brides and grooms in the most important day of their lives.
Helping couples making their dreams come true is for me a wonderful journey and my greatest pleasure is to see the happiness and joyful smiles of the bride and groom during their special day.
The name "Acquamarina" is inspired by my favourite stone (aquamarine) and its meanings.
It well represents my personality: romantic and transparent.

Who am I?

My name is Ilaria Manaresi and I was born and grew up in Florence, Tuscany.
I studied interior design and after some years, I moved to the event planning field, working at first as the assistant of a wedding planner and after as employee in event management for an important banqueting company specialized in luxury events.
In 2012 I launched my agency, Acquamarina Wedding Planner, to offer a personalized and individual approach to the planning of weddings and parties.
I organize weddings all around Tuscany: Florence and its surroundings, Val d'Orcia, Siena, Chianti area, Lucca, San Galgano, the tuscan coast and wherever you desire to get married.

More about me:

Depicted as enthusiastic, creative, perfectionist, trusty, sensitive and professional.
Inspired by beauty, nature, art, poetry, design. I love creating wedding projects that reflect the personality of each couple.
I love to meet and work with in love couples and I think that the relationship, empathy and trust I create with bride and groom are very important and necessary.
I love handmade craft objects and I think they give a precious and personal touch to every event, especially I use to propose only made in Italy products, from stationery, to decorations, favors, and more.
I still love handwritten words and calligraphy, as well as I love flowers and plants and I think they give a lot of joy and energy to every place... I have always fresh flowers in my office.
I study original and balanced mix and match of colors, textures, forms and flavors, to create unique atmospheres and settings.
I keep myself up-to-date for new trends, visiting shows, travelling, reading magazines and more.
I am an eclectic designer, because my wedding proposals are as different as my couples are unique.
